About the 2017 Forum

In a recent Ernst & Young privacy and security survey, 38% of respondents admitted that they address security in new business processes and technologies, but not privacy specifically. Even more concerning is that nearly half (46%) of survey respondents admitted that their main concern is not having a clear picture of where personal information is stored or processed outside of their main systems and servers (which will not be tolerated under GDPR).

So as the onus of accountability shifts from regulators to organisations, you need ensure that GDPR is seen as a business wide objective that requires collaboration, vision, strong leadership and buy-in from the board.

Thomson Reuters is therefore delighted to bring you the 6th Annual Future of Data Protection Forum.

The conference will address the type of GDPR plans you need to avoid putting your business and reputation at risk.

Attend this event and find out how to:

  • Gain an understanding of European Commission and ICO views on the future of GDPR across Europe and beyond
  • Develop an operational road-map to embrace GDPR and develop sustainable privacy
  • Win the hearts and minds of the business to develop a culture willing to embed data protection
  • Practically consider the  impact of the proposed E-privacy Regulation
  • Make the most of your data and GDPR compliance:  Use data to talk to your customers better
  • Discover practical approaches that your peers have taken to get on to the road to compliance
