Richard Pym is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial services. He has been Chairman of Allied Irish Banks plc since 2014. He is a former Chairman of UK Asset Resolution Limited, the entity which manages the run-off of the UK Government owned closed mortgage books of Bradford & Bingley plc and NRAM Limited. Richard is a former Chairman of Nordax Bank AB (publ), The Co-operative Bank plc, Brighthouse Group plc and Halfords Group plc. He is a former Non-Executive Director of The British Land Company plc, Old Mutual plc and Selfridges plc.
