Campbell is one of the leading lawyers advising on patent litigation in the UK. He is also at the forefront of advising on alternative litigation funding and insurance arrangements in the UK patent market. His cases regularly involve the strategy and management of multi-jurisdiction disputes in Europe and the US.

In addition to his expertise in patent litigation, Campbell advises on issues relating to the interface of patent and regulatory law, notably in relation to supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) for medicinal patents and FRAND licensing disputes in the telecoms sector.

Campbell studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and has a Masters in Intellectual Property law from the University of London.  He is qualified as a Solicitor Advocate (England & Wales) and is a member of IPLA and TIPLO.
