Chris joined the Post Office in October 2013 on an interim basis and, in addition to running the legal function, has responsibility for the internal audit, risk and security functions, together with the operations of an in-house mediation team. As well as being a highly regarded lawyer, Chris has a very strong commercial background working for companies such as Royal London (the UK’s largest life and pensions mutual), Singer & Friedlander (acquired by Kaupthing), National Australia Bank and Lloyd’s of London. He started his career in the UK in the corporate finance team at Norton Rose, a job which took him to parts of central and eastern Europe.
