Kate Cheetham
General Counsel, Lloyds Banking Group
Kate Cheetham joined the Group Legal team of Lloyds TSB Group in 2005 and was appointed General Counsel, Group following the acquisition of HBOS in 2009. Since joining the Group, Kate has led the internal and external legal teams on the Group’s major corporate and capital markets transactions, as well as expanding and developing the Group Legal function, the Group’s legal risk management framework and the strategy for and management of its external legal advisers.
Before joining Lloyds TSB, Kate was a corporate lawyer at Linklaters and prior to that ran a commercial art gallery in London for 5 years. Kate has a History of Art degree from University College London.
